Op zich stond er niks wereldschokkends in het document. Behalve een klein onderdeel specifiek gewijd aan Twitter. <!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Specifieke regels voor Twitter Advertising<\/h2>\n<p>De FTC wil dat het voor het publiek ondubbelzinnig is dat de tweet een advertentie betreft. Nu begrijp de FTC ook dat je slechts 140 karakters hebt om je boodschap te brengen, dus het is toegestaan om te werken met bijvoorbeeld afkortingen. <\/p>\n<p>Of zoals de FTC het zegt:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>For a sponsored story to be allowed, it must contain two things: the statement indicating it\u2019s an advertisement, and the realistic expectations of the product. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Hieronder staan twee voorbeelden zoals de FTC ze ook in haar <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ftc.gov\/os\/2013\/03\/130312dotcomdisclosures.pdf\" title=\"Link naar FTC document\" target=\"_blank\">rapport<\/a> heeft staan. De eerste is degene die afgekeurd is door de FTC, en de tweede is de goedgekeurde. Specifiek is daaraan toegevoegd de afkorting &#8216;Ad&#8217; om aan te geven dat het een advertentie is.
